NEIGHBOUR ETIQUETTES
The following are the things neighbors should follow to maintain the Etiquettes:

  • Show respect and consideration for your neighbors.
  • Contact your Local Shire or Council office and ask them what ordinances are in place to deal with problem neighbors. Ask them whether they have a Code of Behavior for Residents living in their area of jurisdiction.
  • One must not be noisy at all hours whether day or night.
  • There should not be any disorderly conduct such as drunkenness and abusiveness.
  • Accumulation of rubbish in plain view from the street is not a sign of good manners.
  • Do not litter the streets about one's home.
  • Do not throw things over the fence.
  • Do not destroy neighbor's property, plants, etc.
  • Do not allow your kids to be as undisciplined as yourselves.
  • Not to throw rowdy parties with unsavory friends.
  • Not to pick fights with all.
  • Not to come and go noisily at all hours of the day and night.
  • Do not use foul language.
  • Do not damage neighbor's property.
  • Do not allow your kids to use neighbor's premises.
  • If you are running a business from home, you should always keep away clients who cause a nuisance to others around.
  • If you have a party which continues after 10.00 pm, consider moving your guests inside and close all windows and doors.
